Northwest Clean Air Agency

This project for the Northwest Clean Air Agency (NWCAA) consists of the installation of seven (7) new Electric Vehicle (EV) Level 2 Chargers in an existing (37) stall parking lot. These changes are intended to provide on-site charging for NWCAA’s current fleet of electric vehicles used by their inspectors.

In order to support these new EV chargers, work also includes PSE electrical services upgrades and a new 28-kilowatt solar array system (54 solar panels) to offset energy consumption. The solar array is projected to generate enough power to cover 60% of the building current energy use.

A steel canopy structure is also being provided to provide shelter at the EV charging stalls and to support the new solar panels. The entire parking lot is also being repaved and stripped.

Construction is progressing this spring with completion scheduled for April, 2026.
