Northwest Clean Air Agency EV Charging & Solar Array

The Northwest Clean Air Agency (NWCAA) EV Charging and Solar Canopy project was completed July 2026! HKP delivered a sustainable infrastructure upgrade that supports the agency’s growing electric vehicle fleet. The project includes seven Level 2 EV charging stations within the existing parking lot, providing convenient on-site charging for agency vehicles used by inspectors throughout the region.

 To support the new charging infrastructure, the project included electrical service upgrades, a 28-kilowatt solar array consisting of 54 panels, and a new steel canopy structure that provides shelter for charging vehicles while supporting the solar installation. The photovoltaic system is expected to offset more than 60% of the building’s energy needs. Additional site improvements included parking lot repaving, new striping, and storm drainage upgrades, creating a durable, high-performance facility designed to serve NWCAA for years to come.
