One of the fun projects we were able to complete this summer was the new greenhouse for Skagit Valley College and the San Juan County Washington State University Extension. The greenhouse will be used by the WSU Extension and their master gardening program on SVC’s campus.
HKP got to tour Henry Klein’s very first house in Mount Vernon yesterday. Thank you, Erik Pedersen for opening it up for us. A piece of Mount Vernon history just waiting for the right buyer.

HKP’s Brian, McKenna and Julie helped with the Mount Vernon Downtown Association’s Clean Sweep program this weekend, helping to paint and weed along 1st Street and Pine Square. Loads of fun with the other volunteers!
